4.3 Connection to Children

1. Children can gain a decision making skill. Photographing requires a lot of patience and thinking. People need to think about what kind of perspective, color, and how much light will be needed to capture the images they would like. Because of this, photographing will improve children's decision making skill, as well as their critical thinking skill.
2. Digital photography became a common technology among people. Children will gain a basic technology skill through photography. In order to use a camera and photograph well, people will need to understand shutter speed, exposure, and ISO.
3. Children will gain a different and wide perspective on objects. Through photographing, people see things that they have never seen before. They start to realize other things about certain objects, people, and places. Children will have the chance to explore the world; therefore gaining more experience and wide perspective on the world.
