1.1. About Seung

Seung is an art/design educator and a graphic designer. She received her BFA in graphic design at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2014. Her interest in art and design education grew when she designed typography workbooks for her senior thesis. She briefly worked with middle school students at Baltimore Design School to develop the workbooks and realized that she wanted to continue immerse herself with art and design education. She is currently a masters student at Teachers College, Columbia University and is studying art education.

During the MICA years, Seung was introduced to many different technologies, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, web codings, and Adobe Creative Suites. With technologies becoming very important part of art education, Seung is very excited to broaden her technology experience and learn new skills through the course.
